The Afghan dumplings Mantu filled with marinated beef or leek/pumpkin are absolutely delicious and are prepared by hand. The dishes are refined with pomegranate (anar), which is typical for the country. At lunchtime there is a small selection of dishes, in the evening there are various regional specialities from different regions of Afghanistan and a mezze platter to choose from. You should definitely try the marinated aubergines with yoghurt sauce - Bandjan Borani. Jennifer and Akram run the restaurants on Limmatplatz and in Hottingen with a lot of passion and use only local ingredients, Swiss meat and vegetables. In addition to the restaurants, Afghan Anar is also present at the Streetfood Festival and offers catering for 30 people or more.
