Babu's Bakery and Coffeehouse is the epitome of coffee & cake with 30 different coffees, homemade cakes and pastries. In addition to rich breakfast options, fresh salads, quiches, pasta, bagels, rösti and homemade soups are available throughout the day. The menu includes homemade iced teas, fresh juices and smoothies for refreshment.

My tip: Herb focaccia with grilled vegetables, rösti with salmon or bagel with avocado

I particularly like the warm atmosphere in the Bebek and the impressive interior design in the former tram depot. Even when the restaurant is full (almost always the case), one is warmly welcomed with the proposal to wait at the bar for a free table. In Bebek you can discover delicious oriental dishes, fine teas and other specialities all day long.

My tip: Big oriental breakfast and mezze plate. 

The Bohemia is a stylish meeting place in American Brasserie style and always well filled. The restaurant is known for its brunch on weekends until 4 pm with a large selection of hot and cold dishes. At noon there are three menus to choose from, one of which is vegetarian. In addition to selected meat specialities, fish and seafood from the Argentine wood-fired grill, the restaurant serves fresh salads, pasta dishes and home-made cakes and snacks. 

My tip: tuna tatar, for dessert lukewarm chocolate cake (without flour) with sour cream ice cream

The Bros Beans & Beats stands for cordial service, high-quality coffee and pleasant sounds in a comfortable atmosphere. Besides coffee, there is breakfast, fine sandwiches, various salads and aperitif plates. Vegi or with meat/salmon. In summer you can also sit outside.

My tip: big vegetarian breakfast

At Café des Amis you are spoiled the whole day with delicious French and oriental dishes. Many people know the café for its breakfast or brunch. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. Perfect for coffee & cake, crèpe or an after-work drink with aperitif.

My tip: Sandwich with crispy house bread, smoked salmon and guacamole

Roschen and his team spoil their guests at Kafi Freud with homemade granola, fine cakes, quiche and of course fresh coffee and chai. Cosy atmosphere with plenty of greenery, coffee house music and a selection of good books invite you to linger. On Saturdays there is also the brunch card with egg dishes, warm banana bread and much more

My Tip: Granola with yoghurt and fresh fruits

The Kafischnaps is a café and pub and is run with a lot of heart. The chef smokes fish himself, the meat comes exclusively from Swiss production from the butcher's shop and breakfast tastes so delicious until 4 pm. During the week there is a changing lunch menu. Wonderful in the evening for aperitifs with plättli.

My Tip: UUFKLAPPTI BREAD with marinated salad either with Chèvre Chaud or homemade salmon

The grain silo is a café and bakery in the beautiful mill Tiefenbrunnen in Seefeld. Breakfast is served every day, lunch from Monday to Friday and hearty and sweet crepes on weekends. From 3 p.m. the aperitif starts with cheese and sausage plates, various pots served with a bread basket and much more. In addition, the operators regularly invite to culinary events.

My tip: Have a coffee with friends at the weekend.

French flair with typical French bistro dishes can be found in the Salut SALON. In the traffic-calmed area of Weststrasse, it is a wonderful place to linger in fine weather.

The food is fresh and seasonal, with regional organic products as often as possible. For lunch during the week, there is a choice of a daily fish or meat dish and a vegetarian dish. At the weekend there is an à la carte menu. This is divided into dishes for small and large appetites with classics such as tartar, moules et frites, tarte flambée and entrecote "Cafe de Paris".

The wine cellar is well stocked with fine wines from France, Switzerland and other renowned wine regions.

Luckily, it's a small café with a bar and famous for its delicious pancakes and waffles with various toppings. There is also a large breakfast selection, and guests are spoiled with brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm. A changing lunch menu is served from Monday to Friday.
