Sakura Uster: Taiwanese cuisine and sushi

Restaurant Concept Sakura

The restaurant is located in Niederuster, opposite the Volg supermarket. The host couple are originally from Taiwan and warmly welcome and look after their guests. There are tables both inside and outside. The furnishings are rather simple.

At lunchtime, there is a great selection of lunch dishes (veggie, vegan, fish and meat) such as curries, bowls, fried rice and classic wok dishes such as Szechuan beef. Each dish costs between 19 and 25 francs and is served with two homemade spring rolls.

In addition to a selection of fine Taiwanese and Asian dishes, there is also a large selection of sushi. The sauces and curries are all homemade and there are no additives such as flavour enhancers etc. The chef has learnt the sushi trade in specialised restaurants and you can taste it. :)

All dishes are also available as take-away.

My tip at Sakura

I find the curries extremely delicious and you can tell that the sauce is homemade. I can also recommend the sushi creations.
