Gaijin Izakaya

I already met the chef Dan Shu in 2018 at the "NightMarkt at Coffee Shack" and since then I have been a fan of his Yakitori barbecue skewers. The unique taste experience is due to Dan's craftsmanship and a Konro charcoal grill, which was specially delivered from Japan. Now Dan and a partner have opened their own Yakitori (Japanese neighborhood barbecue where you can have a drink and eat a snack). On the menu you will find small dishes with the themes "Fire", "Hot", "Cold" and "Large". Those who prefer to leave the choice to the chef (and are brave and adventurous) can choose the Omakase for CHF 60 and receive a selection of dishes.

My tip: Miso Shoyu Roasted Eggplants, Hot ’n’ Cold Cucumbers, Taco California, Chicken Thighs Negima und Sake Braised Beef
